Phillips had to go and I can't believe Henderson is in.

As for McGuire, there are not many other options at centre half. And to be honest he doesn't let England down. Didn't he get into the Best XI at the last world cup? Had 3 good tournaments for us and experience is important with a few youngsters in the squad.

Palmer has to go given age and potential. Chelsea were smart there and I think this was a mistake by Pep to let him go, however it’s admirable for him to be honest with the player and tell him his chances would be limited.

I bet Bowen misses out which would be very unfair.

Quite a few reports coming out to say he's definitely been dropped from the squad.

Doesn't play any football and was called up in November. Plays a few games and now gets dropped. Laughable from WAISTCOAT, really.

I'm of the opinion the bloke should never have got a single cap, though maybe that shows how poor we'd been in that position for a while until ddclan came along.

Like all the time when parker didn't get a look in even though he was twice the player Henderson was. Hardly a surprise that England suddenly became good when they finally had a world class DM in there protecting some ropey CB's.

Nothing makes a difference anyway so long as englajd have one of the worst managers in world football.

Great coach at getting a squad together team spirit wise, but not rocker science why he has failed in every other job, bloke is a clown who's more negative than moyes even though we have some unreal attacking talent.

Not watched a game since 2022 and doubt I'll bother this summer.

The lobbying has been going on for a while, but this kinda confirms to me that Bowen ain’t getting picked for the euros:

Bowen is mentioned as an afterthought and his competition is Kane and Watkins upfront. Considering we pretty much how we will set up, Bowen is the perfect backup to Saka on the right, in my opinion

Don't leave out the part that Italy were shitting themselves so bad after the first goal went in they could barely complete a pass, and Southgate had the team stand off them until they settled back into the game. Then he hooked declan rice for henderson, leaving phillips on as well.

One of the most poorly managed games I've ever witnessed.

With Foden, Bellingham, Rice, Kane I think England are maybe second favourites behind France and capable of beating them
The usual major European powers ... Spain, Germany, Italy ... are all off their traditional levels.
